Glenn A. Sefton
Glenn A. Sefton, 93, of Saxonburg peacefully went to join his beloved wife in Heaven on Thursday.
Born Sept. 1, 1924, in Clinton Township, he was the son of Clarence D. Sefton and Dorothy (Ringer) Sefton.
Glenn worked in maintenance at U. S. Chemical in Neville Island.
He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the 63rd Infantry during World War II, earning a Bronze Star.
He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and Keith-Holmes Post 402 of the VFW. He had served as a deacon at his former church, Greystone Presbyterian Church in Coraopolis.
Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his daily walks.
Surviving are his beloved family which includes his two sons, Glenn D. Sefton of Saxonburg and Bill (Beverley) Sefton of Warrenton, Va.; his daughter, Deborah Heitzenrater of Economy; his grandchildren, Michael Heitzenrater, Leigh (Tim) Blain, Seth Heitzenrater, Liza (Chris) Arnal, Kimberley Sefton-Gray; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Gloria M. Sefton, who died May 7, 2016; his parents; and two brothers, David Sefton and George Sefton.

SEFTON — Friends of Glenn A. Sefton, who died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Saxonburg, with the Rev.
