3 SRU sports earn GPA awards
LOCK HAVEN — Three Slippery Rock University sports teams — field hockey, women's softball and men's track and field — have earned Top GPA Awards in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference for the 2020-21 academic year.
The field hockey team's grade point average was 3.794 in claiming the award for a 10th straight year. Women's soccer had a 3.723 team GPA, men's track a 3.380 team GPA.
