Community Meals Ministries is hosting a free dinner on Christmas from 10 a.m. to noon at Butler Global Church, 200 E. North St. in Butler.

Reservations can be made until Monday, Dec. 22, to secure a takeout-style hot meal, according to Lorena DiDomenico.

“The holidays are tough. That’s why Community Meal Ministries is here to help and serve a free Christmas dinner to anyone who may need it,” she said.

The nonprofit supports residents in and around Butler with hot meals, clothing, hygiene and other products. The organization has been active since the pandemic, and it began serving community meals in spring.

“The volunteers are excited to do this on Christmas Day, so please, let them help make your holiday the most wonderful it can be,” DiDomenico said.

The nonprofit organizes free dinners at various churches in Butler each day of the week. The meal schedule can be found at cmmbutler.org or on its Facebook page.
