Jean Krah Grbac

Jean Krah Grbac, 80, of Valencia, passed away on Aug. 28, 2021.

Born on July 14, 1941, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Schaffler Krah.

She was the beloved wife for 36 years to Donald F. Grbac; and was the loving sister of the late Fr. Joseph E. Krah.

Jean was the secretary at Royal Bedding Co. from the age of 18, and later became office manager.

She was raised in the North Hills, and later moved to Brookline. When she was in her 40s, she met the love of her life, Don, whom she married, and together they created a home in Valencia.

Jean had a special love for animals, had a couple of dogs earlier in life, and shared two German shepherds and two kitties over the years with Don.

GRBAC — Friends of Jean Krah Grbac, who died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, are invited to a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church, with interment to follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.

Arrangements are being handled by Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Bakerstown.
