Frank J. Lux

Frank J. Lux, 92, of West Sunbury, formerly of Avalon, passed away Thursday.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Mogus) Lux; the loving father of Valerie A. (Larry) Gallagher, Kevin F. (Terry) Lux, Bruce D. (Mishell) Lux and Mark S. (Lori) Lux; the grandfather of Bethany, Jeremy, Shane, Jared, Emily and the late Sylvia; the great-grandfather of Emmett; and the brother of Regis (Gloria) Lux, Betty Wilson and Myrna (Stewart) Perry.

Frank was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.

Before his retirement, he worked as a graphic artist. He was a member of the Graphic Arts International Teamsters, Local 24, the Associated Artists of Butler, and he was a member of the American Legion in Avalon for more than 50 years.

LUX — Friends of Frank J. Lux, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, 1014 California Ave., Avalon.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank and Mary Ann's memory to the Sisters of St. Joseph, C/O St. Joseph Convent, 1020 W. State Street, Baden, PA 15005.
