Dorothea A. (Voltz) Emanuel, 85, of Wilkins Township, Allegheny County, passed away peacefully Saturday.

She was the beloved wife of 67 years of James L. Emanuel; the loving mother of James (Pamela) Emanuel, William (Georgine) Emanuel and the late Nancy Emanuel; the dear grandmother of Joshua Emanuel and Sarah (Kalias) Muhammad Emanuel; the great-grandmother of William, Theodore, Benjamin, Aliyah and Jasmine; and the sister of Nina “Tiny” Layla and the late Phyliss (Gene) Gardner.

Dorothea loved to read and enjoyed traveling.
