About 250 people braved cold, wet weather Saturday, May 6, 2017, to participate in the Walk of Hope, an annual drug awareness march through downtown Butler. The theme of this year’s march was recovery, and several recovering addicts shared testimonials during the event.Tom Victoria/Butler Eagle

The Walldogs came to Butler in the summer of 2016 and painted murals on buildings and on boards. Some of the murals did not get placed at that time. The Butler County Historical Society says the remaining artwork will be installed by the end of May 2017.Butler Eagle file photo
