LYNDORA — Monthly public dances, formerly held at the Meridian Veterans Club, will now be held at the Ukrainian Hall, off Hansen Ave.

The dances feature oldies music provided by M.J. the D.J.

The next dance will be held from 8 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $7 per person at the door. Participants should take their own alcoholic beverages.

ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Historical Society has announced the formation of a new history club, open to area residents.The club will meet monthly and no dues are required. The group will review history materials primarily from the historical society's library.The initial club meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 21 at the Passavant House, 243 S. MIDDLESEX TWP — The Lighthouse Foundation will begin its next term of Faith Tech computer classes on Feb. 6. Classes are taught at the foundation, Route 8, seven miles south of Butler.The free classes are taught two hours per week for six weeks. ZELIENOPLE — The St. Barnabas Medical Center will offer a flu shot clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Zelienople Senior Center at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Cost is $39.Medicare and several insurance plans will be accepted.
