Paul E. Delaney, 88, of Butler passed away Sept. 1 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on Oct. 7, 1925, in Butler, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Violet M. Gold Delaney.

He was employed by Steinheiser Propane Inc. as a bottled gas delivery man. He retired on May 4, 2005.

He was a member of the Moose International for many years.

Surviving are his numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Delaney, on Oct. 15, 1993; his two brothers; and his three sisters.
