NAMI registration for class ends today
Today is the final day to register for NAMI Family-to-Family classes.
COVID-19 has altered almost everything, including how NAMI Butler County is helping others better understand and live with their loved one’s mental illness.
“Many Butler County families have been affected by the coronavirus, but it’s particularly difficult for families dealing with mental illness,” said NAMI Butler president Jennifer McConnell. “The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Family-to-Family classes are designed to increase people’s understanding of and their ability to cope with these challenging illnesses.”
Beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 30, NAMI Butler is offering the Family-to-Family program via Zoom. It’s an eight-week evidence-based program taught by trained family members.
Registration is open through Wednesday by calling 724-431-0069 or emailing info@namibutler.org.
