SWISSVALE — Police say a suburban Pittsburgh shooting victim may be a suspect in a city slaying case.

Swissvale police say the victim was discovered by authorities responding to a reported shooting early this morning.

WTAE-TV reports one person was taken in for questioning after police responded to the scene a few miles east of Pittsburgh.

SCOTTDALE — Two teen girls have been found delinquent on juvenile charges following a fight during which one girl’s mother urged her into the violent confrontation.The girls, ages 13 and 16, were each ordered Tuesday to pay $100 fines for their roles in the April 16 fight in Scottdale, Westmoreland County. A video of the fight was uploaded to YouTube.One girl’s mother faces a hearing next month on a corruption of minors charge. Authorities say she can be heard on the video encouraging her daughter to fight.
