Caiden Ash Murray

Caiden Ash Murray, 2, passed away March 6 at the Georgia Regents University Children's Medical Center in Augusta, Ga., after a sudden illness.

Born on March 10, 2011, he was the son of Ashley Rettig Murray and Nicholas S. Murray of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Butler.

In addition to his parents, Caiden is survived by his brother, Bryce Murray; his sister, Kori Murray; his brother, Dominick Murray; his maternal grandparents, Mark and Terri Rettig of Aiken, S.C.; his maternal great-grandparents, Jay and Sue Sasse of Butler; his paternal great-grandparents, Johnny and Tammy Spicer of Gilbert, S.C., and his maternal great-great-grandmother, Julia “Bela” Murrow of Longs, S.C.

Murray — Funeral services for Caiden Ash Murray, who passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, were Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at the New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Aiken, S.C., with interment in Historic Bethany Cemetery.Arrangements were entrusted to the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home in Aiken, S.C.In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been established for Bryce Rettig Murray, in memory of his brother, Caiden Ash Murray.
