Joanne B. (Puszko) Mravintz
Joanne B. (Puszko) Mravintz peacefully went to be with her maker on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at age 82.
Joanne lived in Lawrenceville, Butler and Ligonier, Pa.
She was born May 17, 1938, and was the eldest daughter of the late Charles H. and Agnes (Zilaitis) Puszko.
She was the loving wife for 51 years of John G. Mravintz Jr.; and the mother of Cynthia Joan (Randy) Fisher and John G. Mravintz III.
She was also the grandmother of Randy John Fisher and Carrie Jane Fisher; and the sister of the late Thomas, Robert and Charles E. Puszko, and Carol Hensch Dawson.
Joanne graduated from Mount Nazareth Academy, and became a sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth for nine years. She was a lay teacher for the Diocese of Pittsburgh for many years. She was employed by the federal government, department of FIPC, before her retirement in 2001. She was their “Employee of the Year” several times.
Joanne loved living on her farm in Ligonier, raising Black Angus cows, and chickens. She also loved baking, reading and crocheting afghans.
Joanne had a heart of gold, and she will be missed by those who knew, loved and befriended her.
