Deetta F. Kuriger, 63, of Center Township passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1954, in Duncansville, to the late Francis Sloan and Harriet Eastep Sloan.

Deetta enjoyed fly fishing and loved all animals, especially her two golden retrievers.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving companion, Ron McCall of Center Township; three brothers, Francis “Butch” Sloan of West Sunbury, Carlton Sloan of Reno, Nev., and Scott Sloan of Center Township; her sister, Cindy Henderson of Lakeland, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Sloan.
