Police have arrest warrants but still looking for suspect
An accused drug dealer is being sought for allegedly selling heroin in Butler in 2016.
State police vice officers last week obtained three arrest warrants for 30-year-old James R. Hutchinson III, whose last known address was in Butler.
But investigators admitted Monday that they don't know Hutchinson's whereabouts.
The warrants were issued in connection with three separate drug deals in Butler, authorities said. Hutchinson, known by the street name “G Real,” is accused of selling heroin to a police informant.
In each purported transaction, according to court documents, the informant texted Hutchinson, asking to meet him to buy heroin.
The two met up and Hutchinson got into the informant's car where they drove around until the deal was done.
Police said Hutchinson on March 17, 2016, sold 11 stamp bags for $80 after initially meeting the buyer on West Diamond Street.
He also is accused of selling 15 bags for $100 on March 23, 2016, after meeting up with the informant on Virginia Avenue; and selling 13 bags for $100 on April 12, 2016, again after the initial meeting on Virginia Avenue.
In all, Hutchinson is charged with three felony counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, and two misdemeanor counts each of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Court records also showed that he is wanted on a bench warrant that was issued in August 2016 after he failed to appear for a court hearing in a driving under the influence of a controlled substance case in Butler Township.
