Robert L. Lotz, 79, of Butler passed away Thursday at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Fla.

He was born May 10, 1932, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Samuel C. Lotz and Marian (Barkley) Lotz.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion of Prospect.

He was a retired chief of office operations at the Butler VA Hosptial.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley (Hilliard) Lotz of Butler, and one brother, David Lotz of Prospect.
