A Subaru crashed into two unoccupied parked cars before hitting a small garage near 2176 Chicora Road Thursday afternoon.

CHICORA — Two minor injuries were reported when a car crashed into a small storage building at 2176 Chicora Road Thursday afternoon.

Cody Craig, chief of the Chicora Volunteer Fire Department, said the Subaru hit two unoccupied parked cars on the property before crashing into a one car-sized garage structure around 1:15 p.m.

The Subaru was heavily damaged in the crash, and the two pickup trucks it struck in the incident also were damaged, with one having a back wheel dislocated.

Karns City Regional Ambulance Service and state police were also among those that responded to the scene.

One lane of a portion of the road near the crash site was closed for a short time.
