Rose Marie Roffis

Rose Marie Roffis, 76, of Saxonburg passed away Saturday at her home.

Born on Jan. 28, 1938, in Port Jervis, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Jerald and Mildred (Shirley) Meloi.

Rose Marie was a 1956 graduate of Bridgeton High School. She worked as a school teacher, primarily teaching reading. She loved her dog, Baby.

Surviving are her sons, Stefan Roffis of Saxonburg and Sam (Lynn) Roffis of Butler, and her grandchildren, Tara Amber Rose Roffis of Houston, Pa., Brandon Michael Roffis of Durham, N.C., Casey James Roffis of Butler, and Kara Marie Roffis of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Roffis.

Roffis — Graveside services for Rose Marie Roffis, who passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Butler County Memorial Park.
