Edward Perrin Sandbach

Edward Perrin Sandbach, 89, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., passed away to his eternal home Sunday.

Born Feb. 24, 1926, in Butler, he was the son of the late Harold Sandbach and Eleanor Perrin Sandbach.

He is survived by his sisters, Catherine S. Feder and Joyce S. Goldsmith, and his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Patricia R. Sandbach.  

Mr. Sandbach retired from his position as divisional vice president of Gulf & Western Co. in Pittsburgh. In 1980, he moved to Hilton Head Island, SC.

With his love for God and talent in music, he served as organist for the First Baptist Church of the Island for over 20 years.

SANDBACH — The family of Edward Perrin Sandbach, who died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Island Funeral Home, 4 Cardinal Road, Hilton Head Island, S.C.His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of the Island. Immediately following the service, refreshments will be served for family and friends in the church's Family Life Center.
