Joseph Chvala
Joseph Chvala, 73, of Harmony died Monday at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born June 8, 1933, in Zelie-nople, he was the son of Ferdinand and Agnes Vasko Chvala.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from Resolite, a division of the H.H. Robinson Co. after 40 years.
Mr. Chvala was a member of the Zelienople American Legion and the Hungarian Beneficial Society.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. McClelland Chvala, whom he married May 7, 1960; two sons, Douglas A. and Brian D. Chvala, both of Harmony; a daughter, LuAnn Kapp and her husband, David, of Zelienople; a brother, James E. Chvala of Portersville; and a sister, Cecelia Koben of Ambridge.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Dominic Chvala, and a nephew, John Chvala.
