Helen Jeannette Link, 82, of Butler died Monday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born Sept. 2, 1924, in Clay Township, she was the daughter of Paul D. and Freda J. Miller Cranmer.

She was a member of the Muddycreek Presbyterian Church, where she belonged to the Cross and Crown. She also belonged to the Rebekah Lodge 19, and she served as treasurer for the Muddycreek Cemetery.

Mrs. Link was a member of the first class for licensed practical nursing at Butler County Community College and retired as an LNP at Sunnyview after 13 years.

She enjoyed baking and quilting.

Surviving are her husband, Herbert B. Link, whom she married July 5, 1951; two sons, Robert E. Snyder of Saxonburg and Jeffrey L. Link of Butler; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Gwendolyn) Beachem of Butler; a brother, Charles O. Cranmer of Butler, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Snyder, who died during World War II; a sister, and a brother.

<B>LINK </B>— Friends of Helen Jeannette Link, who died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matt Kail officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
