To apply for a marriage license, visit the Butler County Marriage License Bureau in the Register of Wills & Clerk of Orphans’ Court Office, Level L, Government Center, 124 W. Diamond St.

The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Both applicants must appear and the license is valid for 60 days. Take valid identification, Social Security cards and $60 cash. Also, if applicable, take divorce or name changes decrees, original death certificates and custodial parents.
