Margaret A. 'Marge' Schessler

Margaret A. “Marge” Schessler, 90, passed away Friday.

Born on Sept. 19, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Anna Momper Raida.

Marge was a loyal member of the St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers and the AARP Mars Chapter.

She was a beloved wife, mother and sister who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 66 years, John V. Schessler, who she married on April 7, 1948; her son, John V. Schessler Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of North Hills; her two brothers, Robert C. Raida and his wife, Joanna, of Pittsburgh and Rudolph C. Raida Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Sewickley; and her sister, Patricia Raida of Warren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia L. Lewis.

Schessler — The Schessler family will welcome friends of Margaret A. “Marge” Schessler, who passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, Evans City.
