If not, the tax rates were over 50% from 1932 - 1987. I really don't think there were 50 years of liberal controlled congresses. When did the great switch occur, after the civil war when Democrats became the liberals, and Republicans became the machine?

Hey Ron, Democrats never took control of both houses in Congress until last year. Look it up. Someone said this last year on this forum and I looked it up. The Senate was 49-49 with 2 Independents - and one of them was that little weasel Lieberman who may as well have been a Republican. Rush Limbaugh spouts off his mouth and people who have no mind of their own think he tells the truth. So rethink your baseline, our spending in Iraq and our economy..LOL..
