AI and robotics scholarship open for applications
The Tri-County Build Back Better Regional Challenge Expanded Pathways to New Economy Careers announced Friday the opening of its scholarship awards. The organization’s scholarships are for $2,000 each and can be awarded to students pursuing a degree in a career related or adjacent to artificial intelligence or robotics.
Students may be attending trade schools, community colleges, colleges or universities, according to a news release from Tri-County. Applicants must be from Armstrong, Butler or Indiana counties, and they must be planning to attend a postsecondary education degree, diploma or certificate program in an artificial intelligence or robotics field in spring 2026.
Examples of programs that qualify include but are not limited to cybersecurity, robotics, engineering, automation, mechatronics and computer science.
