Aaron McDowell

Aaron Mathew McDowell, 39, of Evans City passed away Sunday at his home.

He was born March 23, 1974, in Pittsburgh, the son of Paul R. and his wife, Karen M. McDowell Jr. of Renfrew and Deanna J. (Kavesky) and her husband, William Spangler, of Butler.

Aaron was a corporal in the U.S. Marines.

He had worked at Mineral Technologies. He liked working on cars, carpentry and was a sports enthusiast.

Surviving are his parents; his brother, Raymond P. (Pam) McDowell of North Carolina; two stepbrothers, Tim Spangler of Butler and Ben (Sara) Spangler of Butler; stepsister, Melinda Hinkey; best friends, Mike Uram and Buddy; and nieces and nephews, Hannah and Jacob McDowell, Addison, Kaitlyn, Breanna and Nate Spangler.

MCDOWELL — A memorial service for Aaron Mathew McDowell, who passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, will be at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
