Norma Jean Giza

Norma Jean Giza, 91, of West Deer, passed away on Dec. 6, 2021.

Born on Sept. 1, 1930, in Webster County, Elkland, Mo., she was the daughter of the late John and Delphia Young Price.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Giza; the loving mother of Karen (Ronald) Plesh, Michael (Jennifer) Giza and Catherine (Scott) Carson; the sister of June Fauscett, James (Wanda) Price, and the late John Price; the dear grandmother of Shanise, Jason, Joshua, Stephen, Lucas, and the late Dawn; and the great-grandmother of Grace, Faith, Gentry and the late Eddie.

She was the epitome of love, according to her grandchildren. Jean enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, tending to her bird feeders and bird watching, but most of all, spending time with her dear family.

GIZA — Services and burial will be private for Norma Jean Giza, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 2021.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schellhaas Funeral Home, Bakerstown.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
