It was one year ago, on November 3, 2024, that Edward Donald Shepard, 79, of California, formerly of Butler, passed away at the Refined Senior Center where he was residing.

Born in Butler to Francis Donald and Anne Y. Shepard on January 6, 1945. Ed attended Butler High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He grew up in the Greenwood Village area.

He is survived by his ex-wife, children and grandchildren in Texas and many nieces, nephews, and cousins locally. Also survived by a brother John and sister Verena, and deceased sister Joan.

A private service with military honors was held in California where he was laid to rest.

We thank those who attended him in his final days. May he Rest in Peace.
