Two dead in Saturday crash in Buffalo Township
Two people are dead after a crash Saturday afternoon, Nov. 1, on South Pike Road in Buffalo Township, according to the county coroner.
Butler County Coroner William Young III said one of the victims died at the scene and one died at UPMC Presbyterian after being flown there for treatment. The victims were not identified, but they were described as a male and a female.
Buffalo Township police responded to investigate the vehicle crash at around 2:50 p.m. Saturday near South Pike Road’s intersection with Younkins Road.
At 5 p.m. Saturday, South Pike Road was still closed to traffic between Parker and Bear Creek roads, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch.
Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Department and Sarver Volunteer Fire Company also responded to the crash.
