School dinner benefits injured teacher, husband

The cafeteria at Penn Christian Academy filled with community members Friday evening.
The school hosted a spaghetti dinner to raise money for Jenny and Zach Martin, a couple severely injured in a car accident earlier this month. Jenny is a music teacher at the school.
A seventh-grade student in Trish Canedy’s leadership group, 12-year-old Josiah Brugere, came up with the idea for the dinner.
“Josiah said ‘We should do something,” Canedy said. “Here we are.”
