Lincoln Park putting on ‘Finding Nemo Jr.’
Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland is partnering with the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium to promote a musical the center is staging in November.
Disney’s “Finding Nemo Jr.” will premier Friday, Nov. 14, with six performances through Sunday, Nov. 23.
“Finding Nemo Jr.” is a 60-minute musical adaptation featuring the escapades of lovable characters Marlin, Dory, Crush and the story’s hero, Nemo. With new music by award-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, “Finding Nemo Jr.” brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship and adventure, according to a news release from Lincoln Park.
Lincoln Park will also serve a themed refreshment at the café during each performance, with proceeds being donated to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium to support its mission of wildlife improvement and conservation.
Tickets start at $18. The performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, 15, 21 and 22; and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 23, at the MainStage Theater, 1 Lincoln Park, Midland. The show runs one hour with no intermission.
