Collision center goes green
PENN TWP — The Diehl Collision Center at Diehl Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Sprinter, Toyota and Scion dealership on Route 8, has gone green.
Tony Olivia, the collision center's director, said the facility has gone through many changes in recent months.
"The Diehl Automotive Group has made some exciting changes over the past several months," he said, including expanding the collision center and changing to an environmentally friendly waterborne paint technology.
Changing to a waterborne basecoat for vehicle painting reduces emissions usually made during the repainting process.
Olivia also said Diehl continues to reduce commercial waste by recycling as many materials as possible, including damaged car parts, scrap metal, batteries, oil and cardboard.
"We are wholeheartedly dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality repairs while providing outstanding customer service, in the most environmental way we can," Olivia said.
