MALLORY BUGEL(Mars), a senior forward on the Westminster College women's soccer team, was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic first-team All-District II squad for the third consecutive year. Bugel, a two-time PAC Player of the Year, has battled injuries and has three goals and four assists.•

ANNIE LOWRY(Butler), a senior at James Madison University, was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District III women's soccer team as a third-team selection. Lowry is a business marketing major with a 3.725 GPA.•

ALIX FLOWERS, BETHANY PRESTON and LAUREN WOODRING (Grove City College), members of the women's soccer team, were named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District II team. Flowers (3.95 GPA, Christian thought) was a first-team selection while Preston (3.43, music and business) and Woodring (3.93, mathematics-secondary education) are third-team choices.•

NICK CHRISTY (Slippery Rock University) earned second-team Academic All-District men's soccer honors by ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA for the second consecutive year. Christy is a psychology major and has a 3.65 GPA.•

STEVE MONNIE, DAVE KARLS and STEEL FLYNN (Butler) helped lead the Penn State-Behrend men's cross country team to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship title Oct. 27. Monnie placed fifth overall and earned a spot on the all-conference team. Karls and Flynn finished in 27th and 33rd place, respectively.•

BETH COPP(Seneca Valley) had 14 kills as the Westminster College volleyball team defeated Washington & Jefferson College 3-1 on Friday to reach the Presidents Athletic Conference championship match.•

BEN GUTTMAN(Seneca Valley) won the 100 breaststroke (1 minute, 1.63 seconds) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:41.79) as the Westminster men's swimming team defeated Allegheny College 169-84 on Friday.
