Allegheny Health Network is prepared to officially open its expanded Cancer Institute at AHN Grove City Hospital, 631 North Broad Street Extension.

The facility is scheduled to open for patients Nov. 3. It will nearly triple the cancer institute's existing footprint, growing from 1,145 square feet to 3,100 square feet.

Some improvements from the project include increased chemotherapy infusion bay capacity, expanded exam rooms and a larger check in area.

AHN and community leaders cut the ribbon on Wednesday, Oct. 15. and a community open house will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27.
