Rose Marie Vandivort

Rose Marie Vandivort, 93, of Harmony passed away Thursday at Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony.

Born April 7, 1920, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Crenner) Brunner.

Rose Marie was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople and enjoyed reading, baking, homemaking and doing word finds. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She is survived by her children, Carol Lynn Flach and her husband, Frederick, of Chesapeake, Va., Clyde W. Vandivort of Franklin, W.Va., and Mary Anne Vandivort of Chesapeake, Va.; her two grandchildren, Julie Cassidy and her husband, Charles, and John F. Flach and his wife, Suzanne; and her four great-grandchildren, Cole and Molly Cassidy and Haley and Ella Flach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Vandivort, who passed away on Dec. 8, 1984; her son, James Vandivort, who passed away on Dec. 19, 2007, and her siblings, Edward Brunner, Charles Brunner and Margaret Brunner-Goetz.

VANDIVORT — The family of Rose Marie Vandivort, who passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with Father Lawrence R. Smith, celebrant. She will be laid to rest at St. Gregory Catholic Church Cemetery.If desired, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her honor in support of Zelienople Area Public Library, 227 S.
