Independence Health System has added Dr. James D’Antonio to its cardiovascular team at Butler Memorial and Clarion hospitals.

D’Antonio’s expertise includes cardiology, complex coronary interventions, Impella device placement, vascular medicine, endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease, wound care and critical care management.

He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine ,where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
