Rebecca Rhodes and David Rawlings

An October 13 wedding is being planned by Rebecca Rhodes and David Rawlings, both of Mars.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kenneth and Kathleen Rhodes of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Edward and Eileen Rawlings of Zelienople.

The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School, a 1999 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University with a bachelor’s degree, a 2001 graduate of Gannon University with a master’s degree and a 2011 graduate of Chatham University with a doctorate degree.

She is employed by Concordia Visiting Nurses.

Her fiance graduated in 1999 from Mars High School and in 2003 from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree.

He is employed by Liberty Insurance Agency.
