Curt Brodmerkel and Rhiannon Fleming

An Oct. 4 wedding is being planned by Rhiannon Fleming and Curt Brodmerkel, both of Karns City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lisa Fleming and Dale Fleming, both of Lower Burrell. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Bruce Brodmerkel of Chicora and the late Donna Brodmerkel.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Plum High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

She is a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a master’s in social work.

Her fiance graduated in 1978 from Karns City High School and in 1982 from Slippery Rock University.

He is employed by Alcoa in New Kensington.
