Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Buffalo Twp

Sept. 29 — Brayden Cole Samples, 21, of Freeport, was charged with misdemeanor fleeing police following a Sept. 29 incident. Police said Samples was racing a vehicle and did not stop for police.

Sept. 29 — Brian Zheng, 25, of Oakmont, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following an Aug. 20 traffic stop. Police said Zheng had a marijuana cigarette.

Butler Twp

Sept. 23 — Leroy F. Ritenour, 67, of Sharon, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 30 traffic stop. Police said Ritenour tested positive for cocaine.

Sept. 24 — Joshua Richard Davis, 37, of Rowlesburg, W.Va., was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Sept. 23 incident. Police said Davis had a glass smoking pipe, a tinfoil ball and two sandwich bags containing suspected crack cocaine and fentanyl.

Cranberry Twp

Sept. 26 — Danielle Marie Lynch, 37, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following a Sept. 16 incident. Police said Lynch had a container with a small amount of marijuana.

Middlesex Twp

Sept. 29 — Brad Jeffrey Hickinbottom, 47, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Sept. 29 incident. Police said Hickinbottom struck a woman in the face.

Penn Twp

Sept. 29 — Scott Thomas Hotovec, 60, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor driving on a suspended license following a Sept. 21 traffic stop.

Sept. 29 — Ralph E. McBride, 70, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Sept. 3 crash. Police said McBride had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.179%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock University

Sept. 29 — Hayden John Thompson, 22, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 24 traffic stop in Slippery Rock. Police said Thompson had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.114%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Sept. 29 — Garrett Logan Jensen, 20, of Bear Lake, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and ungraded DUI following a Sept. 14 traffic stop in Slippery Rock. Police said Jensen had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.179%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Sept. 29 — Joshua Steven Byers, 25, of Bethel Park, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 23 crash in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Byers had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.204%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Sept. 29 — Devin John Matey, 22, of West Mifflin, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following an Aug. 27 crash in Slippery Rock. Police said Matey struck a vehicle and left the scene.

State police, Butler

Sept. 24 — Destinee Starr Koebler, 25, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of drug paraphernalia possession and marijuana possession following an Aug. 29 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Koebler had a plastic bag containing marijuana and an orange smoking device with residue.

Sept. 29 — David Chris Stirling, 66, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of drug paraphernalia possession and marijuana possession following a Sept. 20 incident in Jefferson Township. Police said Stirling had suspected marijuana and a glass smoking pipe.

State police, Liquor Control Enforcement

Sept. 29 — Marcus Michael Piterski-Howel, 23, of McKees Rocks, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of furnishing liquor to a minor following a Sept. 20 incident in Slippery Rock. Police said Piterski-Howel purchased a one-liter bottle of Tortilla Silver tequila for a minor.
