Casper Ball

Casper “Cas” Ball, of Renfrew, celebrated his 95th birthday on Sept. 30, with a family gathering at his home and a few surprise visits from friends and out-of-state visitors.

Ball is a retired wood shop teacher from Deer Lakes High School, and, for 70 years, he has owned and operated Casper Ball Lumber, which services school wood shops, cabinet shops and individuals in Butler and the surrounding area.

He is married to Alice Ball, and he is a member of the Butler Global Methodist Church, for which he has ushered for 75 years.
