Cranberry Township is seeking volunteers for its annual Leaf Angel Program, which connects residents in need of assistance with individuals or groups willing to help with leaf cleanup.

Volunteer applications are now open, and residents may request a Leaf Angel online from Oct. 13 through 5 p.m. Oct. 24. Matches will begin the week of Oct. 27, depending on volunteer availability.

The program is open to individuals, sports teams, schools and businesses. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old or accompanied by an adult, and are asked to bring their own rakes and gloves. Leaves must be collected in biodegradable bags or yard waste carts for curbside pickup, as loose leaves and plastic bags will not be accepted.
