Butler resident charged with open lewdness
A Butler transgender person is accused of lifting their skirt and other lewd behavior in front of Butler police and residents, police said.
Thomas John Nagy, 33, was charged Tuesday, Sept. 30, with misdemeanor open lewdness following a Sept. 26 incident.
Police said they were dispatched to the 300 block of Miller Avenue for a transgender person who lifted their skirt in front of a Butler resident.
Police reported finding Nagy in the area of West Brady and North Jackson streets. When police attempted to speak with Nagy, they reportedly pulled down their skirt, bent over and yelled expletives at the officers in an area where other adults and children may have seen, according to the affidavit.
Nagy’s preliminary hearing is yet to be scheduled.
