3 men charged in Lyndora narcotics raid
Three men were charged when police executed a narcotics search warrant Saturday, Sept. 27, on a Bessemer Avenue residence in Lyndora, police said.
John Edward Kuhn, 65, of Lyndora, and Craig Allan Douglas Jr., 34, of Youngstown, Ohio, were each charged with felony possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following the raid. Andre Lamont Stevens, 44, of Butler, was also charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following the raid.
Police said inside the residence, they found two large sandwich bags containing a ball of crack cocaine about the size of a softball and three black digital scales with white powder residue.
Police said they also found an iPhone belonging to Douglas beside bags of crack cocaine, Kuhn’s wallet containing several cash cards and a glass pipe with burned residue belonging to Stevens.
Kuhn’s and Douglas’ preliminary hearings are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, before District Judge Kevin O’Donnell. They are being held in Butler County Prison on $25,000 and $15,000 bails, respectively.
