Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Sept. 25 — Eric Lee Powers, 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a Sept. 25 incident. Police said Powers had three hypodermic syringes, a rubber glove containing white pills and two plastic containers with residue.
Sept. 26 — Tracy R. Coen, 55, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and resisting arrest following a Sept. 26 incident. Police said Coen pulled her arms away while being handcuffed and threatened a man with a knife.
Sept. 25 — Jennifer Marie Somogy, 39, of New Castle, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats and harassment following a Sept. 18 incident. Police said Somogy sent threatening emails to county caseworkers.
Sept. 25 — Police investigated a incident on Evans City Road near Oakdale Road where a vehicle was struck by a pellet gun. Anyone with information is requested to contact Butler Township police at 724-285-9600.
Sept. 29 — Benjamin Robert Dawson, 21, of McDonald, was charged one misdemeanor count each of furnishing liquor to a minor and furnishing liquor following a Sept. 20 incident in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Dawson provided a 12-pack of Budweiser cans, a four-pack of Surfside vodka drinks and a one-liter bottle of Tito’s vodka.
Sept. 23 — Harley Kiersten Pflugh, 23, of Connoquenessing, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Sept. 6 traffic stop in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Pflugh had a blood alcohol content of 0.089%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Sept. 25 — Tia Marie Tatters, 65, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Sept. 24 incident in Donegal Township. Police said Tatters showed signs of impairment.
Sept. 25 — Anthony Scott Carbin, 38, of Parker, was charged with felony burglary following a Sept. 26 incident in Bruin. Police said Carbin kicked in a door and stole a chain saw and DeWalt tools.
Sept. 26 — Robert K. Boltz, 69, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation and one misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats and simple assault following a Sept. 24 incident in Oakland Township. Police said Boltz strangled a woman, threatened to kill her and left bruises on her arm, face and neck.
Sept. 26 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash around 5:20 p.m. on Route 422 near its intersection with Unionville Road in Franklin Township. Police said a Toyota Camry driven by Amy C. Pollum, 62, of New Castle, failed to stop and rear-ended a Lincoln MKZ driven by Lamont D. McWilliams, 37, of Erie. Police said the Lincoln MKZ came to a stop on the left shoulder, and the Toyota Camry came to a rest about 200 feet down the road. Both operators were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital by Butler Ambulance Service with suspected minor injuries.
Sept. 29 — Joseph Andrew Hudak, 21, of Ellwood City, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 24 tested positive for THC and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.10%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Sept. 29 — Anthony Jack Gwinn, 19, of Vandergrift, was charged with felony theft and misdemeanor unlawful vehicle use following a Sept. 7 incident in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Gwinn stole a vehicle.
Sept. 29 — Lisa Michelle Mitchell, 61, of Erie, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts and two misdemeanor counts of controlled substance possession following an Aug. 27 traffic stop in Worth Township. Police said Mitchell had suspected methamphetamine and tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.
Sept. 29 — David Martin Lesney, 39, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 25 traffic stop in Prospect. Police said Lesney tested positive for cocaine.
Sept. 29 — Nevada Jean Getty, 28, of Portersville, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 19 incident in Portersville. Police said Getty had suspected crack cocaine and a Chore Boy.
Sept. 29 — Logan David Siemers, 18, of Oakdale, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Sept. 27 traffic stop in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Siemers showed signs of impairment.
Sept. 29 — Christopher Lee Buckley, 45, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Sept. 26 incident in Brady Township. Police said Buckley struck a man in his nose causing bleeding.
