J. Daniel 'Dan' Anglum
J. Daniel “Dan” Anglum, 61, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, died Friday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born in McKeesport, Sept. 9, 1950, he was the son of Felicia Schramm Anglum of Tarentum and the late James B. Anglum.
Dan was an electrician for Kirby Electric in Warrendale and was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Electrical Union.
He attended the Mars Alliance Church, and he enjoyed hunting, golf and especially time spent with his family.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Ruth L. Neat Anglum, who he married on April 15, 1972; a daughter, Kelly L. Anglum (Dave) of Evans City; two sons, Daniel J. Anglum (Ellen) of Monaca and Shawn T. Anglum (Amanda) of Zelienople; his grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Dalayna, Jacob and Jackson; two sisters, Kathy George (Dick) in Florida and Connie Elza (Jeff) of Tarentum; and two brothers, Rick Anglum (Beth) of Shaler Township and Kevin Anglum (Denise) of Renfrew.
ANGLUM — Friends of J. Daniel “Dan” Anglum, who died Friday, April 27, 2012, will be received at the
McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mars Alliance Church, Route 228, Mars, with the Rev. Jeffrey Lawther officiating. Please meet at the church.
