Matthew J. Ferenchak
Matthew J. Ferenchak, 69, of Butler, formerly of Limerick, Pa., died Monday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pa., on Sept. 16, 1943, he was the son of Edith Detterer Ferenchak of Norristown and the late John Ferenchak.
Matthew was a partner in LaFern Industrial, a machine tool consulting company, retiring in 2003. He eventually moved to Butler where he worked for the state liquor stores.
He had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Barbara Lattanze Ferenchak, who he married on July 7, 1973; two sons, Matthew Ferenchak of Gilbertsville and Gary Ferenchak of Pottstown; a stepson, Tony Lattanze (Karen) of Renfrew; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Miscavage of Royersford, Pa., Kathy DiSanto of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., and Janet DeSante of Blue Bell, Pa.; and a brother, Frank Ferenchak of Schwenksville, Pa.
