Seneca Valley students and families marked homecoming with an annual event featuring a carnival, parade and fireworks on Thursday evening, Sept. 25, at the district’s secondary campus in Jackson Township. This year’s theme was “Under the Stars.”
Guests enjoyed food, games, fire trucks, floats and a performance by the “Roaring Raider” Marching Band before the evening concluded with fireworks at NexTier Stadium, which were sponsored by the senior high student council.
Seneca Valley will crown its homecoming king and queen during pregame festivities at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at NexTier Stadium. The Raiders will then take on Mt. Lebanon at 7 p.m. The game and crowning will be broadcast on SVTV, Armstrong Channel 208 and Consolidated Communications Channel 407.
