Maxine Katherine “Max” Ireland

Maxine Katherine “Max” Ireland, 82, of Butler passed away at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Oct. 7, 1929, in Wall, Allegheny County.

Mrs. Ireland was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos.

Mrs. Ireland is survived by her daughter, Sandy Clapper and her husband, Dave, of Butler; her son, John Ireland of Ohio; and her daughter, Linda Ireland of West Virginia. In addition, she is survived by two other sons; two other daughters; and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She also is survived by one brother, Joseph Findley of Wilpen, Westmoreland County.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Marie Katherine Clapper.
