Robert H. Wise
Robert H. Wise, 86, of Harmony passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.
Born Aug. 15, 1926, in Harmony, he was the son of the late Paul P. and Mae (Kristophel) Wise.
Robert was a lifelong dairy farmer who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an active member of the Grace Church of Harmony, where he belonged to the men's Sunday school class.
For more than 60 years, he acted as the cemetery caretaker for the Grace Church Cemetery. He was a member of the Harmony Historical Society and volunteered at the Harmony Museum. During his free time, he also enjoyed gardening, woodworking and driving school buses. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Eleanor M. (Gardner) Wise, who he married July 18, 1953; his two daughters, Linda M. Wise-Russell and her husband, Jim, of Butler and Amy J. Biedka and her husband, Mark, of Harmony; his two brothers, his twin, William Wise, and Thomas Wise, both of Florida; and his two grandchildren, Keri S. Biedka and Mark Jon Biedka.
