Mary Mincin
Mary Mincin, 99, formerly of Baldwin Borough, passed away peacefully Tuesday, only a few days shy of her 100th birthday, at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
She was born April 3, 1916, in Altoona. She was the daughter of the late Marina and Darlo DelBianco.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Along with being a fabulous cook and stay-at-home mother, she also loved to sew. She was active at St. Albert the Great Church in the C.C.D. program and eucharistic minister for many years. She also loved gardening and spending time with her family.
Mary was the mother of Robert (Lynn) Mincin of Mount Lebanon, Mary Ann (Kenny) Dietrich of Butler and the late John A. Mincin; the mother-in-law of Joan Mincin of Scott Township; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and son, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Mincin; and her brother and sisters, Lucy, Angelica, Marina and Anthony.
MINCIN — Friends of Mary Mincin, who died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, will be welcomed from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Albert the Great Church.
